The land at La Huerta has been re-imagined from a deforested cattle pasture to a thriving food forest and homestead with over 700 tropical fruit trees.  Using techniques from permaculture, agroforestry, and regenerative farming we are creating abundance from the land as well as a vibrant community. 

In the first half of 2026, we completed our first public hosting season. We're incredibly inspired by what we co-created with everyone who visited.  We are currently working hard to add more infrastructure to make our 2027 hosting season the best one yet.

In February Jazz in the Jungle will be filling our new stage with music and magic: hosted by Grammy-nominated Jazz musician Cyrille Aimee and friends. After that, Community Guest Visits are back in March and April.  Join us to co-create community and share skills and joy.
